Under normal circumstances, the world’s foremost design collectors would be browsing the six-story Vanderborght Building in Brussels to survey the scene at Collectible, a burgeoning fair that spotlights—as the name suggests—collectible one-offs that toe the line between design and fine art. The coronavirus pandemic had other plans, of course, so founders Clélie Debehault and Liv Vaisberg launched a series of online viewing rooms to showcase this year’s offerings.
