On Nov. 4, more than 400 artists, philanthropists, museum directors, curators, and art-world luminaries gathered in Chelsea for Dia Art Foundation’s Fall Night gala, which both celebrated its 50th anniversary and paid tribute to Larry Bell and Senga Nengudi. Guests were welcomed with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as they perused work by the honorees and Steve McQueen. Following the reception, guests sat down for a candle-lit dinner by Olivier Cheng and enjoyed a family-style seasonal fall supper during remarks by Nathalie de Gunzburg, Jessica Morgan, and Hilton Als. Notables in attendance include Cecilia Alemani, Wes Gordon, Peter Marino, David Zwirner, Matthew Barney, Coco Fusco, Joan Jonas, Glenn Ligon, Precious Okoyomon, Anthony Meier, Martine Syms, Lee Ufan, Connie Butler, Thelma Golden, Lucy Raven, Teresita Fernández, and more.
